1. FIT INDIA FREEDOM RUN CAMPAIGN: The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) has launched a Fit India Run Campaign at all its border posts and formations in the country under the Fit India Movement- Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju virtually launched the mission on 15th August.

2. AHMEDABAD: Two over bridges of Ahmedabad city have been named after late Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj.

a. The Railway over the bridge in Ranip area of the city will be known as “Atmanirbhar Gujarat Railway Flyover”

b. The newly built flyover at Income Tax circle will be known as “Arun Jaitley flyover” and,

c. Flyover at Anjali crossroad will be known as “Sushma Swaraj Bridge”.

d. The Chairman of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Standing Committee Amul Bhatt announced, that flyover in Bapunagar area will be known as “Maharana Pratap flyover” and,

e. Hatkeshwar flyover will be known as “Chhatrapati Shivaji flyover”

3. GRAMODAYA BANDHU MITRA PURASKARAS: Chairperson of Infosys Foundation, Sudha Murty and Group Head of Agri and IT Businesses of ITC Ltd, Sivakumar Surampudi are among the winners of Gramodaya Bandhu Mitra Puraskaras, announced by GCOT.

4. CHAIRMAN OF NON-EXECUTIVE INDIABULLS HOUSING FINANCE: former Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India Subhash Sheoratan Mundra, has been appointed as the Non-Executive Chairman of Indiabulls Housing Finance, who is an Independent Director on the Board of the company.
